WELCOME TO THE BIG SUR FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL 2011
Please join us Thursday November 3rd through the 6th for another fabulous weekend!
We extend gratitude to those whose generosity and involvement made last year such a success. We thank the Highlands Inn for use of their historic space for the amazing Gateway to Big Sur Opening Night gala. It was a fabulous evening, with outstanding food, great wines and contented guests. We'll return to the Highlands on Thursday November 3rd, 2011, with a great line-up of chefs and wineries, as well as a Silent Auction.
We are grateful to the management and staff at Ventana Inn and Spa, where we had our second Dinner With Friends, preceded by the auction, another rousing success.We also can't forget the amazing generosity of Big Sur property owners who allowed our guests to hike their stunning properties. And of course, none of this would have happened without the hard work and dedication of the event committee and our amazing volunteers.
It gives us great pleasure to announce that last year, we donated a total of $16,500 to the Big Sur Health Center, the Gazebo Park School at Esalen, Big Sur Learning Project and Captain Cooper Schools and the Henry Miller Library.

The Big Sur Food and Wine Festival is a giving organization that holds events to promote Big Sur as a culinary destination, supporting the overall health, character and vitality of the Big Sur community. Its intention is to stimulate the local economy and give a portion of event proceeds to support local nonprofits, arts and education programs, sustainability projects, and talented Big Sur residents who would greatly benefit themselves and the community through a wine and/or culinary scholarship.
